Jamie Webb hit a 10-foot jumper at the buzzer to give Cranford a 49-47 upset over previously unbeaten Roselle Catholic, ranked No. 13 in The Star-Ledger Top 20, yesterday in Roselle.
Trailing 42-31 at the start of the fourth quarter, Cranford stormed back with an 18-5 surge, fueled by seven points from Morgan Miller and six by Webb. Allison Skrec sank two foul shots with eight seconds left to tie the game before Webb, who had 15 points, connected to win it.
Skrec finished with a career-high 31 points for Roselle Catholic, including a 19-for-23 performance from the free throw line.
