After being edged at Governor Livingston 37-35 on Dec. 18 in season-opening Union County Conference-Mountain Division play, Cranford came back to beat league foe Johnson 46-31 at home on Dec. 22.

In the Dec. 18 contest, Webb netted 14 points, Gross six and McCoy five.

Gross and Webb both poured in 10 points in the triumph over Johnson, which also begins this week 3-1 after winning the Hornets Tournament in Little Falls.
